you can send any player under NBA contract with less than 3 years exp. (was 2 in old CBA) down to the d leage (was 3 times a year under old CBA) those players are still under NBA contract and are paid as such .. (and are on the 15 man roster) only 12 players dress per NBA game (13 for the first 15 games this season)

for the thunder .. cole aldridge and bryan mullen are both on the thunder (1st round picks) and both played in the dleague a little last season ... different from robert vaden that was in the dleage and signed a deal with the thunder at the end of the season

and yes you can play in both on the same day .. jordan farmar did that a few year ago for the Lakers/defenders ..

I don't believe there has been one negative word about Willie in this thread. Don't know where that came from.

I thought when he got a chance to play and play regularly he did a nice job. His skill set seems to have improved and we always knew he had the hops to keep up with these guys. If for whatever reason LAC goes all Clippers with him I'm sure someone else will pick him up.

Yeah, I was always impressed when I saw him play out there. I hope he can find some meaningful minutes at some point.

Willie will have to catch a break (read: injury to those ahead of him) to get some meaningful minutes, which he desperately needs to improve and prove he can be a solid backup PG in the League.

Clippers reluctance to part with backup PG, Bledsoe, indicates they do not view WW as ready to move into that role.

The Clippers don't have a true SG. Because of his size and athleticism, Willie may get a chance to play some off guard.
