What got into that boy?

He was out there fightin and jawin for rebounds. Excellent!

I did notice Doolittle really working hard on blocking out. Maybe it got Brady fired up??

Given Manek's lightweight condition I dont expect him to win a bunch of those battles, but the enthusiasm will pay off after he hits Blake's workout routine this summer. He could come back really filled out and ready for bear.

Now I'm gonna hafta watch the game again.
 
Brady’s a tough kid. He has been a lot more aggressive lately.

If he goes through the same workout routine that turned Blake into a beast after his freshman season, I can see great things out of him next season. Didnt BG spend the summer running the sand dunes in Cali that summer?

I will be interested to see what he does. He will have the opportunity to go pro and likely be a first round pick this year. However, unlike Trae, he's also got tons of room to move up draft boards if he returns to school and gets better.

What? Now Manek's going pro after this year? LOL. Please tell me i'm misunderstanding.

I wasn't even contemplating thoughts about him leaving. with some off-season work and more experience he could be an all-american for a couple of years. He'd get all the accolades and the NBA money he'd want or need. leaving now would be silly.

He's in the perfect position.

Think about how much Buddy improved and place that on top of where Brady is already. He could be like Kevin Durant with better passing. I'd say like Larry Bird though.

Mike Dunleavy Jr. He does look way too much like Larry Bird though.
 
Does he get in the hall of fame on the first or second ballet? Common guys compairing Manek to KD or Bird is comical. About a week ago he got bullied to the bench with a donut by West Virginia. Kid can shoot the ball and diffently can play and will be a stud. But against men he's going to have a tough time right now. Let's let that stache fill in and some meat on those bones before we put him in the hall of fame.

Did you watch the WVU game? I have it dvr’d and he was open all night. Hard to get a shot up when whatever guard crosses halfcourt goes 1 on 1 or 1 on 5 to the hoop. #15 from WVU blocked so many shots playing help defense on our out of control guards. We ran our offense only 4 possessions.
 
Lol Manek would not be a first rounder this year...

Think he’s been a very good player for us and has a chance to be great, but come on...

Sometimes our fans see our players through crimson colored glasses that are far too thick to see the world as it really is. Folly!!!

Yeah Manek isn’t going anywhere. Hope he makes that big jump next year.
 
So far this year I have heard the following OU players playing in the NBA:

  • Trae Young
  • Brady Manek
  • Kameron McGusty
  • Rashard Odomes

It's just what fans do......
