From a Baylor friend who knows his hoops:

6'4'' slim. Average quickness for high level D 1. Good defender. At the end of the the game he face-guarded Aaron Harrison near half-court and kept the ball out of his hands. Strong and quick enough to do that for 30+ seconds. He played him tight - 6'' away. Nice hands and had some steals in the tornament.
Decent outside shot. He has a nice runner. Can penetrate but didn't finish above the rim against FB Travis.

Good player but I don't know where he fits in the Big 12. Not sure he is quick enough at PG. Last night was a DDM game at both ends. So I didn't see enough of him to know if he could pull heavy duty at SG. Maybe a combo with defensive skills. Situational stopper.

He head faked/cross-overed both Harrisons a couple of times that was pretty embarassing. I didn't see that as Buddy being that superb at the move as the Harrisons' bit too hard. Very quick fisrt-step but nothing like the Harrisons in terms of body control and shifting when penetrating the lane. I think Rivals has him about right at #94.

I noticed earlier on a google search that their semi-final game in a West Coast tournament referenced a video feed hosted by a newspaper. I think it was the Santa Maria Times. I was on my phone so I didn't dig for it. You might look at that, and also take a look at the Estonian Joesaar.

I sat in front of the Crowder College Ladies team. They kept it entertaining. A couple of them hot-tubbed the night before with ''Ba-ha'' (Hield is from the Bahamas). I could dig up their emails from the Crowder JUCO site and they could tell you more about his game. Their tall blonde Brazillian center was stalking the Harrisons severely.

Don't need him to be quick enough to start at PG.
But we do need him to be able to handle the ball. So I'm fine with that scouting report.
