Buddy hield

Two schools of thought on this:
1) Buddy (along with Spangler and perhaps Woodard) will be the center of the offense. He puts up, say, 14.5 PPG / 3.5 RPG / 4AST and a couple of steals per game. His shooting from outside improves and he rounds into a complete two-way player. I think we all hope this is how it goes.

2) Without Osby or any other proven inside threat to account for, teams game-plan for Buddy. He has to get rid of the ball more and/or take more low percentage shots, which undermines his efficiency. That version is like 10 PPG / 2.5 RPG / 5.5 AST / let's stick with 2 steals. In this scenario I'll presume the opposing game plan dares him to shoot the 3; whether he's ready to do that could make or break a large part of our season

5.5 APG is huge, and I'd bet a decent amount of money on it not happening, even with odds.

There was a run of a couple games in-conference where Buddy was primary ballhandler and had at least six assists in them. I was basing my guess on last year's midseason form for Mr. Heild.

Hield will not be a distributor next year. That will be Woodard's job. Hield will need to score. We don't have enough scorers for him to be averaging nearly 6 assists per game.

Hield will take to the basket some and will need spot shooters for that role as sometimes the lane isn't open and so you need that option. But he probably needs to be our leading scorer next year. I don't know a lot about the new comers next year as far as scoring goes and none of us really do till they get here. We lost a ton at the post. I actually am more confident in our guards overall though. They are still young. But he's our most explosive scorer. We need Hornbeak and Cousins and others to step up and make some shots. Cam Clark will be Cam Clark at this point. Athletic but inconsistent.

CAM will surprise everyone next year! He will play like a top 30 recruit like he was suppose too. He has NBA talent!
