Looks like Buddy's performance at the KD camp was good enough for him to earn an invite to Lebron's Skills Academy camp. This is a more exclusive event, only the top 30 college basketball players are invited.

Congrats to him and can't wait to see him on the court!

Good for Buddy. Let's get the Buddy Love hype train rolling.

I'm happy for Buddy, but I worry, with each development like this, that he's that much closer to leaving at the end of this upcoming season. I'm greedy -- I want four years with him.

I warned you fellas!!

That thread is a great reminder of how exciting Buddy's season was. He took a huge jump between year 1 and two.

Good for the program is he is a high draft pick and goes to an NBA team.

I think it's going to take huge leap this year for that to happen, at least to the NBA.

I heard an interview with LK this off season. He said something like this' " Buddy depended more on his outside shot this past season. Did good with that. But he forgot his strength. Driving to the basket and getting fouled. We hope in his third year to get some balance between the the two."

Not to worry, sky. Remember, the experts already told us there's no way Buddy will be a high draft pick after the 2014-15 season.

""I gave everything else to my (OU) teammates," he said. "I feel like they're the reason I got to go to KD's camp. Me wearing all that fancy stuff wouldn't look good. My teammates should be part of that, too; like if I'm there then they're there, too."

"I had to take care of the guys from last year's team first, but hopefully I can fix up the new guys with some stuff from LeBron's camp."

What an incredibly nice gesture by Buddy. I don't care if we have only one more year of him, I'm just happy such a humble person is a Sooner.

Yep, love that humble attitude.

Good to know a guy with KD-caliber attitude is getting the KD-caliber skills he deserves...

Personally, I think he stays another year, as I think he is a late first round or early second round pick.

With that said, if he is guaranteed a first round selection, hope he bolts for the money.

With the way people are talking, I don't think he is leaving early for the traditional reason of "being a lottery pick". I think it's more like M'Baye, in that he wants to start providing for his family, so even if he is a late 1st rounder, or 2nd rounder, or Europe guy, he is still going to leave.

I hope Buddy has the type of year that vaults him into the lottery next year, b/c that means we were really, really good this year. I just have my doubts. He isn't really the type of player that typically goes that high. He isn't a point. He isn't a C. He isn't a SG with insane physical size for that position.

If I was a GM, measurable and a possible lack of position at the next level would be a concern for me too. Good news is those can be overcome.
