Buddy Invited to Lebron James' Skills Academy

Per Draft Express from KD Camp

"Oklahoma's Buddy Hield has grown a bit since his high school days. He was listed at 6-3 as a freshman, but measured 6'4 with a solid 6'8.5 wingspan and 214-pound frame. Hield has legitimate size for a shooting guard and is coming off a very strong sophomore season during which he average 16.5 points and 4.4 rebounds per-game."

The Thunder are paying Mitch McGary $1.2 million per as the #21 pick. if Buddy is projected anywhere late first round he's out of here.

Even early second round guys make $900k per year or so. Rarely does a guy improve his draft position from junior to senior year. You can either play with those guys or you can't.

If he can get anywhere close to that kind of money, who can blame him? I would opt out early, too, if I was in his shoes.

No matter how this plays out, I hope Buddy makes the right decision. M'Baye didn't, and something tells me he regrets not coming back for his senior season.

Buddy could be on a D Wade like college career. Wade was ineligible as a FR, so these are his Soph and Jr stats. I think I can see Buddy cracking 20 a game this season, especially if Thomas can't play. He needs to increase APG and RPG to push him into guaranteed 1st round. Wade had a great all around game in college.
