I would normally agree, however this info (that Buzz has told other coaches he would be interested in the OU job) hasn't been printed as far as I can tell.

It was just stated in his chat.

The question is, did Buzz tell BCG he would be interested and BCG passed along this info when he was in Norman?

This is how this works. OU intermediaries contact Buzz and ask him if he would be interested. He says lets get together after the NCAA's. Then Buzz calls Kelvin Sampson and probably several Big 12 coaches and asks them about the shape of the program the players,facilities,fanbase,recruiting possibilities etc. Then Joe C. calls Marquette and asks permission to talk to Buzz. Not always do the Administrations publicly acknowledge another school requesting permission. We didn't speak publicly about Notre Dame's huge ploy for Stoops.

Everything you say is likely how it goes down except that OU doesn't speak to Buzz directly but the communication happens through Buzz's agent. OU and Buzz won't speak until this thing gets really serious.
