Wouldn't it be kick A if these two guys came in and took the team by storm like T. Everett and T. Gray did back in 04-05?

Washington is a Juco AA just like Gray and Blair threw up a triple double as a true frosh and hits the boards. Any PG that pulls double digits boards in multiple games is strong and aggressive.

The 04-05 Sooners came out of nowhere to go 25-8 and if memory serves me correct we picked up Everett off the street in the summer before the season.

One thing that I have learned in my years as a Sooner. When the residents of the manure farm up north start running their mouths and getting cocky that means good things are around the corner for OU.

100% agree

They did come out of nowhere, but we also had Drew Lavender, Lawrence McKenzie, David Godbold, Nate Carter, Longar Longar, Johnnie Gilbert, and Kevin Bookout on that team. They were loaded with talent and heart at every position.

i don't know about loaded....

CJ Washington probably has the lowest expectations of any 20pt 13rb juco all american ever. I am really rooting for this kid. He's a good guy and a hard worker. I don't know much about Blair, but just looking at his body type and the fact that he played in N.O. gives me a feel of Quannas White.

Yep... most of the time when you averaged 22 points and 13 rebounds a game people think you can play.

Anthony Brown averaged 22 and 8 or so his last year at JUCO. But, I don't remember there being much excitement about him at OSU.

I remeber hearing Greg Swaim squeel like a little batch when OSU signed him. I think he ranked OSU the #1 class in the nation for the 3rd year in a row.

There is a gigantic difference between averaging 8 and 13 rebounds.
