Calipari talks Trae Young

Love how he points out that Lon didn't lie to get him.

that dude (Calipari) is such a greasy weasel. It would make my dad very sad to know he coached Kentucky now. He disliked him too.

Greasy or not, I like what Calipari had to say about TY and Coach Kruger. That was quite a compliment coming from a guy who is accustomed to signing nearly any high school player he wants every year. I also got the impression his respect for LK is genuine.

I hopefully, future recruits were listening to what he had to say about Coach Kruger.

I get what people say about Calapari, but he didn't have to be so complimentary to Trae or Coach Kruger.

I'm with you -- I was pleasantly surprised by his comments (I too think he's generally pretty greasy).

I dont trust a darn thing that comes out of his greasy mouth. He's always working an angle. The implication was that coach Lon was willing to change everything in OU's program and focus solely on Trae ... all at the behest of Trae's dad. "Something [he's] not willing to do."

He had such an easy and classy cliche out available for an answer. Local kid, playing in hometown ... but he had to instead work it into a + for his reputation and make a backhand dig at Lon. putz.

I’d show it to future recruits!!

Cool is absolutely right, and I can't believe y'all fell for this jackwagon's "aw shucks, I missed out on one recruit because my program is too good and far away" garbage rhetoric.
