Needs to be on the court as much as possible. Sure, he turned the ball over a tad last night, but I thought he showed great energy and hustle throughout. I think its time to put him in the starting lineup. His handles are better than Blair and he plays a lot tougher defense than Blair.

Agree or Disagree?

I agree...

but i wouldnt play him 35+ minutes at point, i think more of a 22-18 mix between the two would be nice...because with these two there are going to be games where one stinks and the other shines and i think Capel is gonna have to go with who is hot...

I do think Newell should be the starter unless Capel thinks he needs the energy more off the bench...reguardless he has shown me he is more valuable even though he does make some bonehead mistakes...

I'd say more of 27 minutes. No more Pledger at PG, it has killed his game. I'd even slide him over when bringing blair of the bench. Now they both need to know how to set up a fastbreak.

Calvin gives up something that no other OU player has right now it seems... that little bit of extra speed gives the offense some movement, such as the inside and outs he and Drew were running last night.

Also, the more 40 Cal plays, the happier T_Neal's Twitter is, which makes everyone else happy in the end

i wouldnt argue with that...he actually might be a better offensive threat on the floor than Pledger anyway...it definitely wouldnt hurt us...

At this point Newell, Pledger, Neal, Clark and Fitz all need to play as much as humanly possible. If you're going to suck this year you may as well get your upside guys as much experience as you can.

Yeah, I think we all agree on that point. No offense to Nick and CJ, but they just aren't the future.

I agree. If we are going to lose might as well play the youngsters plus Cade

Agree -- Calvin should play as much as possible provided he is doing everything coaches expects out of him at practice and in school.

Disagree -- with the statement that he has better handles than Blair. Just my opinion, but he has the worst dribbling skills I have ever seen on a D-1 player under 6'3. I don't know how a kid can come out of Phillie as a guard and not know how to dribble -- it is mind blowing to me.

Notwithstanding the above, Calvin is light years better defensively than Blair (who really couldn't be worse), hustles, has some offensive game and appears completely unselfish (not that Blair is selfish). I guess I just see a lot of upside in Calvin, and since we are probably throughing the year away, why not get calvin ready for next year. This being said, I have seen junior high girls that dribble better and with more awareness than Calvin. He really needs to work on this aspect of his game.

Totally Agree.

It's a good thing we are allowed to have our own opinion, because you must have never seen much basketball. Keiton Page is wrose or why is he a sg.

On the note of who I think should be starting and playing, I think the name says it all.

i see what hes saying.. cal really does lack the normal handles of a PG.. that soft TO at the halfcourt line was bad.. page actually does have great handles you would be surprised i was hoping osu would cool on him and he would have came to OU with a chip on his shoulder and been a good role player back when he was in high school but dang now he'd be a star at OU :(
