I could not watch the game and only saw the box score, but what happened to Cam? Did they focus on him to take him out of the game? Was he playing scared in his first bedlam game on the road and was just not aggressive?

Im surprised we were in this one with the free throw disparity and Cam throwing out a goose egg. We need Cam to step up and not dissapear in games if we are going to win a few of these though ones down the stretch.

Looked to me like he just got in a bad frame of mind. Just couldn't get anything going and sort of gave up.

I'm going to go with the bolded. Unfortunately Cam didn't build off of the Baylor game. Still have high hopes for him though, one bad game won't change that.

I think it hurts his offensive game that he really can't get to the hoop off the bounce. If he doesn't get open looks in the flow of the offense he doesn't shoot.

There were several times that Cade had the ball near the top of the key, and Cam was on the wing calling for the ball and Cade went the other way.

Cam is a great prospect. He is not a GREAT player yet. Great players don't absolutely disappear in games against their instate rivals. He was held to a goose egg. He definitely needs to do some soul searching on this one.

I believe that Clark's game has improved in conjunction with Blair's improvement.

Blair had one of his worst games of the season, I do think the two are connected.

He had those 2 shorts jumpers in the first half that he missed...Wonder if either or both of those fall what is his mindset like??

I remember towards the end of the game he had an open lane to the basket, but rather instead of getting an uncontested layup, he chose to pick up his dribble and shoot a short jumper which was missed. Not sure what was going on there.

valid point.

Did Markel Brown's defensive effort have anything to do with it?

;)

he knows he didnt play well, but he only took 3 shots. i told him to be more aggressive!

Gotta give him a chance to score. Run a few plays to get him in the game early. If he's 0-10 it's his fault.

he had some opportunities. idk if anyone else notices this but it seems to me when cam doesnt make his first few shots he doesnt shoot anymore. he cant be like that. look at pledger he missed his first 55 shots then made some big ones for us in the second half. he needs to have more confidence in himself.

This had something to do with it....from the DOK...

CORRALLING CLARK

One of the more intriguing matchups paired OSU's Jean-Paul Olukemi and OU's Cameron Clark, two athletic guards capable of going off for big scoring games.

Edge: Olukemi.

Clark, who led the Sooners with 25 points in Wednesday's win over Baylor, failed to score against OSU. Olukemi made just 4 of 14 shots from the floor, but went 11-of-13 from the foul line to lead all scorers with 19 points.

“He's a great player,” Olukemi said of Clark. “I take pride in not letting people come in here and score on me at will. I think I just made an emphasis today to pay attention to the scouting report and take away his strengths. He can drive to the basket, he's athletic, he can get offensive rebounds.

“I tried to focus on what he can do and take that away from him.”
