Campbell?

Sharane only played 4 minutes tonight and her playing time seems to be down from last year. Does anyone know if she is injured, in Coales doghouse, or some other issues I might have missed? We are going to need her to at least replicate her performance from last year.

I think they are trying to get some new players some time in the preseason. Sharane probably is giving up some time to Kornet and Durrett to see if they can play.

I agree, Sharane is far more affective than Portia, or Nicole at this time. I think Sherri knows she can count on Sharane and is giving the minutes to the other two for the time being. As we play the tougher opponents in the non-conference, we will see her minutes pick up right up to the conference schedule.

On the other hand, when the staff decided to replace McFarland as a starter, that spot went to Manning rather than Campbell. That tells me that Sharane is viewed as a situational player with more gaps in her all-around game than Maddie.
