It's funny because in the post game interview what he says is all spot on. He talks about the team needing to do the little things to win ALL the time.
He is correct.
But I have watched his teams for going on five years and his teams seldom do the little things to win. Even when the team was going to the NCAA Tournament, they were not particulary sound in many aspects of the game.
I wonder if his teams ever do shell drill in practice to learn how to rotate defensively or understand how to contain the dribbler because they seldom do it in games. Frankly, it's kind of embarrasing the type of defense they have played during his tenure.
I am not bashing the players, I think they are a hard working group. But unfortunately, I see a pretty low ceiling for this team.
