Capel and NCAA tidbit

I saw this on twitter this morning and hadn't seen it posted, I think its the most info I've heard on the possible NCAA findings recently.

Here's a name for the George Mason opening: Jeff Capel. Sources told me that Capel will not be in the NCAA report when it is released.

Why? He dismantled OU's BB program, had 3 of the worst seasons in 30, will likely land us on the NCAA prison ship and handed Kruger a terrible roster.

I wish he would move out of Oklahoma and give us back all that mad money we will be paying over the next several years.

Seriously? How petty is it to keep holding a grudge? He's fired, moved on.

I think GM would be a good fit for both Jeff and that program. He was nothing but classy to myself and everyone that I know and I wish him nothing but success.

Great if he gets a job. I believe that anything he would be paid would reduce by that amount which OU has to pay him.
Seems financially it would be better to stay out a year or 2.

I would think good news...one less person who knew so less impact on the program. I he gets hired I hope he does well. Sometimes a good person and a good job just aren't a good fit for each other. I has happed to me before (at least I think I'm a good person).

Why?

Because holding grudges and letting hatred fester inside you will eat away at your soul. Yes, Capel torpedoed our once-proud program. He paid a huge price for it. He lost his job. There's nothing we can do about it his tenure at Oklahoma now. It's time to move on.

yes, they could. I just think LK is a seasoned coach and his record in first round games is pretty good over a long amount of time.

I do think Capel would be a good choice for GM. He could recruit some local talent (local to GM) which he always tried to recruit to OU. He could get enough talent to win, but he needs better asst coaches than he had at OU to coach at a higher level. JMO.
