I also feel your pain. For me, OU game day used to be an "event" that I looked forward to all day long. This was true for three decades of Sooner basketball excellence.
Alas, now the drive down to Norman and the LNC seems more like a chore, rather than something fun.
Also, the TV games are much less interesting, since it is clear that "my team" is no longer competitive with the decent teams across the country.
The stock of the OU basketball program has crashed. Now, OU is a gimme win for teams like Baylor and A&M.
