A Louisville athletic department spokesman said Monday neither athletic director Tom Jurich nor Pitino would have any comment because of the various investigations into the matter. Pitino has denied having any knowledge of the parties: "Not myself, not one player, not one trainer, not one assistant, not one person knew anything about any of this," the Hall of Fame coach told ESPN this month. "If anyone did, it would have been stopped on a dime. Not one person knew anything about it."

Interesting denial. Not one player knew. Really, the guys that received the prostitutes and parties didn't know. This had to be widely known by the players. They either participated in the prostitutes or heard stories. To say otherwise is absurd. Perhaps the players will all lie for the University but anyone that believes they all (or virtually all) didn't know is a fool.

No assistant, trainer or other person knew anything. Really, wasn't the GA another person. I suspect all the GA knew and all the trainers knew. The guys would talk about it. Big name recruit comes in for a weekend. The guys take him out, get him loaded and get him a prostitute. That is a funny story for 18-22 year old guys. They would discuss it during workouts and therapy sessions.

Clearly people in the program knew about this. The question is who actually knew.

For Pitino you have to wonder why he didn't ask his recruits if they enjoyed their time on Friday or Staturday night? Then ask what did you guys do? He and other coaches don't ask because they don't want to know. They darn well know what goes on but they make sure they don't have direct knowledge so they can lie.

Sampson gets in major trouble for too much communication. OU and an assistant get in trouble for paying for a transcript so a kid can attend college. Lets see what the NCAA does to Louisville. I bet not much. Did they ever do anything to North Carolina?

Just find it odd that a GA was funding whatever was going on, did he expense out whatever he did?

what i've been hearing on podcasts and such, media say just starting following the money, and you'll have your story. They came to the same conclusion, a GA wouldn't have been able to do this on his own
