I received word from 2011 California pg, Cezar Guerrero that despite the KU offer, he's still very interested in Oklahoma. Guerrero told me before the KU offer that his recruitment and the recruitment of AAU teammate and Kansas target, Deandre Daniels were seperate recruitments and the two were not a package deal.
Kansas seems to be scrambling in recruitment with Power Forward Angel Chol, one recruit they highly coveted committing elsewhere. KU also has shown interest in 6'10 center Phillip Jurick out of Chattanooga State Community College.
As reported by Sam, OU is showing interest in Jeremy Jones, a 6'1 junior college point guard out of Seward County Kansas. No offer has been extended to Jones as of now. The other key recruit in the Sooners pursuit of a pg is Elijah Carter of Brewster Prep. Carter's high school coach has expressed on several occasions that the 6'2 scoring pg will look at playing time as the key component to picking a school. Most of the schools recruiting Carter have point guard issues.
