Classen’s Roberts scores 30

Classen SAS star senior Taylor Roberts ended the regular season on a strong note.

She scored 30 points in a 75-27 win over John Marshall, bringing her even closer to the state’s 5-on-5 scoring record.

Roberts enters the playoffs Saturday night at Kingfisher with 3,254 points, 122 shy of the record.

What's the story on her? Are any of the state programs recruiting her? Does she hold any offers?

She has a small D1 school offer at Mississippi valley or something like that. OSU has been talking to her, but as far as I know have not offered her yet.

She is a great player and I think she will get her opportunity. Biggest knock I have heard is speed at D1 level for a guard and she is about 5'10". She is strong and thicker than most guards. IMO her speed/quickness has improved from last year. She has also been unfortunate in AAU with injuries which have kept her from being seen on the big stages.

She is hard worker and talented. Hopefully some school in the Big 12 will give her a shot. She is a really good kid.
