No offense, but you can't even spell our new AD's name correctly.

Deny? Really?

It was whiny. Like, "thank God I have have any AD that wants to pour money into our God forsaken program. Did you know our team had days we couldn't even afford to eat during the season? I just want a level playing field."

Not ONE time have I see him say he needs to coach better.

Meanwhile I ready an interview today of the OU QB Coach, and while he admitted Mateer's injury played a factor in his play, he said Mateer doesn't want to use it as an excuse and he doesn't want to use it as an excuse, and overall, the entire offense and what they are trying to do needs to change/improve. Everything I read from the football program is focused on them working harder as coaches and players to get better. I NEVER hear that from PoMo or his staff.
Heaven forbid I spell a name wrong. Sorry that's so offensive for you.

He wasn't whiny, plain and simple. Has be been before? Absolutely! This was not one of those times. This was actually a good interview from PM. You can try to sell a quote he didn't make to those who didn't watch it, but not to me. He never said that. Here is factually What he said when asked about Denny, Said that he's been clear about his vision and he appreciates that. He's made it clear we need to up the resources and how competitive Denny is to wanting to win.

Has he lacked taking accountability....absolutely. But not a single question asked today lent itself to that discussion.

Good for the football coaches. That has no bearing on this discussion.

You're making something out of nothing for no other reason than stirring the pot. Move it along.

There is literally an entire discussion about the "whiny" on X, but sure, it's just me.

Get lost.

I watched it. I don't care about a thread on X. What did he say that was whiny specifically? I'll wait...

And I watched it, and I don't care about your thoughts.

I thought he sounded whiny. Others thought he did as well. If you didn't.....okay. Free country, you can feel how you want. It wasn't just his words. It was his tone. It was his mannerisms. It was how flippant he was, AGAIN, towards the resources conversation. There were absolutely places in his response he could have taken some blame. He sounds like a man that knows he deserves to be fired and is looking for each and every excuse he can throw out. That's my take.

He says he has to coach better all the time. You are just hearing what you want to.

He says it, yes, but when you always qualify it by talking about NIL or resources or fan support or the arena, it doesn’t seem like true accountability. It’s like someone saying “I don’t want to use injuries as excuse, but…” Or, “I never complain about officiating, but …”

I read a blurb about Jennie B’s remarks today. She said she is excited about working with Denny and his plans for the program, but also went out of her way to say she is so thankful for the support the program has had in her first four years and how fortunate she feels to be at OU.

What I would love from Moser would be something like this: it’s very disappointing that with the roster we put together last spring, I didn’t get this team in position to make the tournament. I need to do a better job with our schedule, and I’ll do that next season. I also wish it hadn’t taken me three months to really settle on a rotation. And I will make sure that we are more committed on the defensive end next season, because we weren’t nearly good enough on that end this season.

If moser was given the cash to sign the AJ or boozer you think he’d say the same?

That’s what Chavez is equivalent to on the men’s side.

I don’t disagree with a lot of what you said but compare apples to apples.

If you listened to it then you are blatantly making stuff up due to your dislike for him. Quite literally nothing about his press conference matches what you are saying. That's fine you're entitled to your opinion even though it's wrong.

From what the rumors are, didn’t Jennie find a lot of that money on her own? I’m legitimately asking because it’s been posted here a couple times. But she also had her team in three tourneys and a Sweet 16 before Chavez arrived, and she took over a horrible mess. The women were a disaster the last few years before she was hired.

I read something that said OU women are top 5 in sec NIL. There is a woman from Indiana who bank rolls Coach B. Not too many coaches bring their own BMDs (BYOBMD$)! It is really impressive and OU better not let Jenny B leave.

It would take probably another $5-10 million for OU men to get to top 5. Don’t see that happening with how hungry the football program is.

I stated over in the women’s side. The disparity between final 4 teams and teams 6-25 is wild!
Texas beat Michigan. 4 vs 9 by 36 points. And would do that 9/10 times.

Ou women aren’t ready for final 4. They need a lot of help. And that’s ok. But women’s side is falling apart and want Jenny fired.

I don’t follow them that close. I heard the same about bringing some $.

Mens $ isn’t the same as women’s $.

$7mil for AJ vs less than a $1mil for Chavez.

Absolutely can’t compare the 2.
NBA vs wnba difference.

I agree, but my bigger point is that I don’t think anyone would suggest our women had one of the higher NIL budgets the first three years under Jennie, and she still won, and she hasn’t publicly complained (at least to my knowledge) that she doesn’t have what she needs to compete.

I think it’s closer to top than you think.

Beers #1 portal big when she came out.

Jenny has what she needs to be sweet 16 every year. It’s so much easier to win in women’s than men’s and not close.

If Porter had her comparable budget and was sweet 16 every year. You’d be happy
