I'll admit I didn't know Isaiah was doing so well in the D-League, but the OU men's basketball account posted this on FB today. Those are some nice stats. I would love to see the Kings bring him up at some point, reuniting him with Buddy.

The guy will play on a team next season!! Way to talented not to at least make a team!

Isiaih would be better off being traded I think. Kings have a lot of guards, and have the #5 and #10 pick in this draft.

Tried to keep up with him this year, glad he did so well.

Isaiah's progress from his freshman to his senior season at OU was really quite remarkable. Great to see he's still doing well!

he shot almost 46% from the field but he needs to improve from the 3 .291

The Kings have a promising core for a rebuild with Buddy, Skal, and Cauley-Stein. If they pick a scoring wing and a pure point (Tatum and De'Aaron Fox?) with their first-round picks, having a combo guard on the bench who will play man defense and get into the lane would really benefit their personnel. Tyreke Evans and Ben McLemore aren't that. Isaiah may get his cup of coffee early next season if anyone in Sacto gets injured.

Think the Kings got pretty lucky last night. Having the 5th pick I would think guarantees them Fox, Tatum or Jackson. Then if they do well at 10 they could be in business!

I think he would be a great fit in OKC. The thunder need a backup point guard, and he is better than Christon.

I could be wrong, but I think he was waived by the Kings and signed by their D-League team. If I'm correct, he's a free agent and could sign with anyone.

You're exactly right. It is a developmental team for the NBA and not just a specific team. anyone can sign him. I think the nba needs to do something like baseball here and make them be signed. Being able to have a team where you can develop without having to worry about being poached would be nice.

If anyone can sign him then that means he's more likely to get signed. Since NBA is more about fit & need than baseball I like it this way. If there's somebody you don't want poached then sign the player.
