Many have talked about the team being inconsistent. That's probably an understatement this year. I understand a shooter having nights when shots won't fall...it happens to everyone. I can understand players who have a game once in awhile when they have high turnovers. Players are not always going to fill up the stat sheet. But, the thing that bothered me most was a lack of consistent effort. Kobe, Durrant, Buddy, Lebron, etc have all had games in which they shot poorly, had few assists or rebounds, etc but it is almost impossible to see those players give less than 100% effort. I never recall seeing DRob give less than 100%. Even when shots aren't falling, playing hard on both ends of the court can still help the team pull out a win.
Recruiting and getting players to give maximum effort are two of Sherri's biggest challenges going forward.
