Kings waive Jordan Farmar, Isaiah Cousins and Lamar Patterson to get down to 15 players.

I hate to hear this. He was getting so few minutes in preseason, I feared it would work out this way, but I was keeping my fingers crossed. That's got to be disappointing for Isaiah, but hopefully, he'll either hook up with another team or (probably more likely) make a nice living playing overseas.

I wonder if he will stick around in the D-league to see if he can get an opportunity somewhere. I think the D-league is increasingly a legitimate opportunity for players compared to going overseas.

Not surprising given the minutes he was seeing. I'm really surprised they waived farmar, thought he'd be the 3rd pg.

Really hope he plays well in the D-League and makes the league.

Should head to euro's. And not delay the inevitable. Still an awesome life experience

Too bad, but not unexpected. He will make a nice salary some where.

Yep, time to head to Spain, Italy, France, or Germany. I think I remember hearing that Ace McGhee was making like $650,000 a year to play over there. That's pretty good living.

No idea if that is true or if I not remembering that correctly.

Yeah, I could probably find a way to eat on that.

That's a lot more than I expected. That's a life changing amount of money as a young man.

There was never a doubt he would get waived. If they really liked him, they could sign him for the D league but he can make more money overseas. I hope he used his time with the Kings to see what he needs to work on ...... and we know he is willing to put in the time to improve his game.

I highly doubt he was making $650k considering he only played a couple of seasons in a high level league in Europe and never for one of the big clubs.

If there's room for Semaj Christon in the NBA, there's room for Isaiah. If he can afford to grind for a couple years in the D-League, his tireless work and talent should win out and at least get him his cup of coffee.

If it's "Basketball for a Living" and not "Spot in The League" he's after, Europe's a lovely plan.
