Skilledserv, which of those girls do you think will be the better college player?

That's a hard one to call.....talent wise you would have to go with Joyner but heart wise it's Cox all day.

I've watched Joyner walk up and down the court when she was on a team the wasn't as good to where as Cox makes everyone around her better. Joyner can play out on the wing to where as Cox can't......but again Cox has a i won't ever quit attitude.

To answer your question I feel that Joyner will have the better college career, but it wouldn't surprise me if I was wrong.

Yes that is a tough one for anyone to call....if they aren't being bias. Both by far are the top 2 kids in the country

I've seen Holmes about four times. She seems to have physical ability. I have never seen her contribute to a win. Her team has won, but mostly with her on the bench. I have not seen her hit shots. I have seen her hit shots after the game is out of reach when they get into garbage time. She excels in playground style. I just haven't seen her do well in a team setting.

Cox is different. She was at her best when the game was close.. She got the key rebounds and the putbacks. In the game against Spain, she saved the US with some late game rebounds and putbacks, just as they were about to lose it. Curiously, Holmes was on the All-Star team. Cox wasn't?

I think someone has a job teaching Holmes to play on a team. I have no idea what to expect from her.

The funny thing is.......look at the last 3 years of recruits for Texas. They have a total of 5 McDonald's all Americans, those are the things you look for when a program begins to change for the better

Absolutely! I think Texas is going to be good (but beatable) this year but their best years are 2-3 years down the road.

Exactly right.....the better kids are just young right now
