current bracketology OU still IN

Yeah, if you count being in the play-in game "in," yikes.

Just embarrassing

You say that as if we should be proud?

We better take care of business over the next couple of weeks or we can kiss that play-in game goodbye.

If we lose at "home" tomorrow night we might not recover.

Seems to me like he posted a factual statement without any editorializing about how anyone should feel.

Apparently lots of people here are fine with it.

Yep. Reminds me of that meme with the dog/person surrounded by fire saying "I'm fine, everything is fine."

Not saying our program has been burnt to the ground, but there is enough smoke that I know it's on fire to some degree.

So looking at bracket matrix. Of the top 64 teams, we have beaten West Va and UNT. And UNT probably wouldn't be top 64 if they weren't expected to win CUSA. If they don't win their tournament, will they get in?

No way they get an at large

Have you taken a look at other bubble teams to see how they compare?

The play in game might be our best shot at winning a tourney game. We should feel fortunate if we make it in at all. However, this BS is getting old every year. The program should be better than this. We shouldn’t be on the bubble every damn year.

Irrelevant. We may get in, may not. Just making the dance but with no realistic shot to make any noise doesn't do it for me.

Just so I have this straight: in a thread assessing our tournament chances, it is irrelevant to discuss our profile relative to the teams we are competing for bids with? Just making sure your position is as silly as it seems at first blush. I know you and others are itching to turn every thread into a referendum on the state of the program and whether Lon should be fired, but the original post simply provided current information on our chances.

Fair point. My post was off topic. Carry on.
