I think it's really stupid of Kansas to never play Wichita State. If they played them in the regular season, it wouldn't be like a NC game for Wichita State when they do play.

If I was Kansas, I don't think I'd play them either. It would elevate Wichita St to play them. Kansas can say that they play a big time schedule -- playing Kentucky, North Carolina, whoever -- and don't have enough games to play others. Including Wichita St in that group elevates their standing -- which is exactly why Wichita St wants it -- and makes it harder for KU to claim Kansas as "their state."

Why put the Shockers on that pedestal and then compete for the same recruits? JMO.

Iowa State choked....no doubt. But I really don't have any ill-feelings toward them. I like Hoiberg.

Kansas, on the other hand, did NOT choke. They were beaten by a better team and it was no fluke. Wichita was extremely under-seeded (they are #10 in Kenpom) and they looked every bit of a 3 seed today.
