Makes me want to throw up. Good grief. Got to give them credit, however.

I am the most biased OU fan in the world and I would kd give OSU a bid over OU. I don’t get the media saying OU is a lock.

So over the course of the year did we get an assistant arrested by the fbi ? Asking for a friend.

I trolled my OSU friends so hard with this hiring. This team has very little talent, and I expected a complete disaster. The fact that Boynton has this team on the brink of an NCAA bid in his first season as HC is very impressive.

Unfortunately for them, I think he'll be gone soon if he keeps this up.

Can't help you if you don't understand bracketing procedures and get caught up in recency bias.

I understand the process. I also understand for decades the last 10 games mattered. OU has looked horrible since about January 10.

Except the committee no longer focuses on the last month anymore. They view the whole season as even.

And it seems like you don't understand the process if you think Ok State should be in over OU via those protocols

OSU has had a very solid season all things considered. They definitely had a better conference season than OU. I think OSU should be in the tourney based on the conference play

Yes, their 8-10 record is DEFINITELY better than OU's 8-10 record. By far.

We get it, you don't like Trae, don't enjoy watching this team, yada yada yada. Unfortunately for you, the committee starts watching games in November, and doesn't just factor in a few splashy wins while ignoring an otherwise poor resume. But hey, you can keep hoping!

You are right. I don't think Trae is good for the program. I don't enjoy this brand of basketball. And yes, their 8-10 record is by far better than ours.

I mean they are the 8 seed for a reason.
They have wins vs UT, vs OU, @ KU, @ WVU, vs Tech, @ ISU, vs KU, vs ISU
So of their 8 conference wins, they are 4-2 vs the top 3 teams in the conference. Yes they have some not so good losses in conference but nothing terrible.

Our wins are @TCU, vs osu, vs Tech, vs TCU, vs KU, vs BU, vs KSU, vs ISU
Against the top 3 seeds we are 2-4.

They have better wins than we do in conference. They play better against the better competition with less talent.

Winner: SoonerBounce13

OSU's three Big 12 road wins are impressive. But they are not the 8 seed because of what they did versus what OU did. If WVU had beaten the Horns and everything else stayed the same, OU would be the 7 seed in the Big 12 tournament.

The teams are fairly even. OU has a better home record and OSU has a better road record. On a neutral field, who knows? Actually KC will not be neutral, because all the Hawks in attendance will be rooting for OU because of their recently developed hatred of the Pokes.

if ifs and buts were cherries and nuts....

Along those lines: if OSU had a better conference season than OU, they would have a better conference record than OU. And another: if OSU had a better overall season than OU, they wouldn't be the team currently on the outside of the NCAA tourney looking in. And one more: if the committee only looked at a team's best few wins (which you seem to do), our resume would still match theirs because of our win at Wichita State.

This is simple to me:

Who has the better resume for the tourney?

OU. It’s not close

Who do I personally think is a better team?

OSU

Tourney resume is based on your entire body of work. The “who do you pick to win now” is based strictly on who you are right now.

OSU did lose 2 of their top 8 players after they kicked them off team
Tavarius Shine missed 5 conference games and they went 1-4 in that stretch
Lindy Waters missed 1.5 conference games, one of which was the game in Norman
Kendall Smith their PG missed the Arkansas game which they lost by 1

I think it will be a nail bitter on Wed
