Did Walker earn the starting spot in the Bahamas?

I think he played better than both Woodard and Cousins... But prob won't start.

Cousins is a good defender. That is hard to see on TV because the camera is always on the ball.

Walker coming off the bench to score points would be great.

Jordan will be fine. I like walker off the bench.

Walker off the bench creating his own shot and getting to the rim is something we need.

On another note really great to see Kruger hit with Walker, haven't had the best of luck lately with JUCOs (especially given his offer list and when we got in on him) but he can clearly play and adds a big dimension to our offense. Love that he plays with no fear against any competition.

So far I would say Walker is a little better than Hornbeak would have been for us. He's a better outside shooter and is strong going to the hole. Very pleased with him thus far.

Walker is the only guard I see put it on the floor and make baskets at the rim with contact. He deserves 20-25 minutes a game

He made less mistakes than Woodard.

Really Walker is only taking slightly better care of the ball than is Woodard (10.8 minutes/TO vs 8.9). Meanwhile Woodard is getting a assist every 6.8 minutes vs 11.8 minutes for Walker. Both are turning the ball over way too frequently.

The big difference between the two is Woodard looks to distribute the ball first and Walker looks to score first. Walker has taken 38 shots in 82 minutes Woodard has taken 40 shots in 170 minutes.

Too me Walker's offense makes him better coming off the bench to give the team a spark as each has to be defended differently. Walker has the ability to enter the game and give you 6 points in 2 minutes. That is not Woodard's forte.

I would continue to start Woodard but have him on a shorter lease if he does not start taking better care of the basketball.

I wouldn't change a thing. We just need to stop turning it over.

Has Kruger missed on a guard? I think the list is Grooms, Hield, Hornbeak, Cousins, Woodard, Booker, and the two guys this year. Everyone has contributed

I dunno if he should start BUT I do know he has been much better than I expected. Normally you get a late juco signee and he is just a practice player; like Chris Walker that KS signed.

Really like his scoring off the bench at this time. But in my mind he has already more than replaced Hornbeak.

I like what you said. Walker isn't one to get many assists but he can get the ball up the court and get the offense moving. I really believe Woodard will get back to where he was last year and quit turning it over so much.
