Difference Between Oklahoma weather and Steven Pledger?

Nothing. You never know what you're gonna get from either.
 
I am surprised that LK didn't go back with Pledger and M'Baye in 2nd half but the other guys were playing well.
 
Did he have a bad game? For sure

Should we call just him out? No way. This was an entire team issue. No defense the first half doomed us.

We are going to need Steven in the games going forward. Let's support the whole team when they need it the most, not bash them.
 
Oh my gosh the board is the biggest bunch of homers I've ever seen.

First off to the above poster they are paid about$ 25 ,000 a year ....... Unless tuition, books, tutors,housing , and food are all free now to every student.

Second he's is a very up and down player...... Ever sr we have minus osby is that way.

He's wasn't saying he hates guts or that he wished pledger never stepped on the court again........ He just said how inconsistent he is ... ..... How's that an attack?

Pledger is a bad defender and can't handle the ball , so when he's not hitting his shots he's not much help, thus that's why he was on the bench a lot the second half.

You think if a duke, Kansas, or unc sr had played like that , people would defend him like that??........ That's the difference in the programs/fans

Man if a sr goes out and lays an egg against the worst team in the league , and someone calls him out for being inconsistent .......... That's an attack???

Jeez ou basketball really is dead , I bet you posters are the same ones who find small victories in 25 point losses.

The original post never mentioned his play or his shooting or his defense -- nothing. Just Steven Pledger = crappy weather.

Was the OP speaking to his shooting, his character, his personality? I don't know and it's ambiguous. I didn't say it was an attack, but it could be interpreted that way depending on what the reader assumes. And that's the last thing we need here. It doesn't reflect well on the university or its fans in my opinion.
 
So, I decided to watch Pledger's actions during the action from time to time in the second half. He cheered on his teammates when he was on the bench and spoke encouragement to the guards when the huddles were broken after the timeouts. You could tell he wanted to be in there but he didn't pout. Neither did M'baye
 
Like him or not he is all we have that is dangerous from 3 and can be the #2 scorer behind Osby. Let's hope the TCU game was just a bump in the road and he can rebound from it and help us beat ISU and on to the Madness.
 
The difference is one is going to be OU's all-time leader in 3's and the other is not.

Still needs 13 after going ofer. It's turned into an uphill battle and we must win another game for him to have a chance.
