Man it sucks to see still how far this program has to go to become relevant again.

Long ways to go, it's hard to rely on three freshman.

I like all three of them. I think they will be really good in time - I just want to see this team/program get some sort of instant gratification for all the hard work and crap that this group has done/endured.

I have all the respect in the world for Coach Kruger but I thought we would look better than this at this point. We look completely disorganized out there. Our guys don't look comfortable at all on offense. I didn't expect us to outrebound the Zags but to get doubled up like that is just embarrassing. I really expected more at this point I guess from a coaching standpoint.

The hardest part is trying to stay positive and believe this will turn around. WV is a big game.

I just can't see how Lon can get a decent team on the floor until he has about 3 more years and can get more D-1 players. Some of these guys look scared out there.

The problem is...most of his recruits are mid major or worse players.

Well, lets see, he got to the program late and could only bring in what he could find. This is actually his first group of recruits and I believe we can see just a little bit of the future. Alot of guards, SF's the first couple of years and then lean the recruiting toward big men. If you look in the NBA you don't need the Shaq's to win Championships

I use to feel sorry for you when Bigoldbooger and the rest of those morons would attack you and other Capel defenders but now I find your posting annoying and cumbersome.

The recruits Kruger is bringing in are going to be really solid. Hield, Cousins, Hornbeak M'Baye, and Spangler are good enough to build a program with - the problem is just time for these guys to grow.

I think Gonzaga is a Mid Major College who gets mostly MidMajor recruits and they just killed us, so I would not say anything about Mid Major players

This year was actually his first recruiting class. We can see some good things in these kids.

While they become solid, the guys who are better then them graduate(Pledger, Osby, and Fitzgerald). Spangler wouldn't play on this years Gonzaga team and you think he is someone we can build a program with? And I do agree that Cousins, Hornbeak, and Hield will grow and will get better...but the problem is, we are bringing in players that need time to grow as well instead of bringing in guys that can make an immediate impact with these players when they have grown. And don't forget to throw Cole into the mix of a player that we can build a program around.

I'm Sorry...I forget. You think that they are all-americans.

I would actually like to see more of the vets play and just commented in another thread how I think Grooms should be running the point as opposed to Cousins or Hornbeak. He looks the much more confident player out there, and he has every reason to be considering he started 31 games last year.

But what I'm not doing is making the ridiculous assumption that these freshman are mid major players at best, like you have. After 4 games, are you kidding me? Enough of the knee-jerk reactions folks...:facepalm

bgrch1350, did Spangler take your girlfriend, you sure are a hater. Bottom line and I hate to tell you this but, word is that if Spangler was elgible this season at OU he would be starting. Sorry to keep busting your bubble. He will go great with the 3 Fr. guards we have and Amatt next year. You need to go ahead and get use to it.

So Spangler would be starting over our Best player Osby? or would he be starting over the one and done M'Baye? You guys and your transfers.

Amath M'Baye via Twitter:

"Now we know how much harder we need to work... We WILL get there tho, no doubt."

Guess what? I believe him. Guess I'm just a glass half-full/realist kinda guy like Amath.

**cue "he needs to stop tweeting and get in the gym instead" post** :p

I do believe though that if Spangler was on our squad..he would have gotten about 5 to 8 mins in the game b/c Arent, Neal, and Bennett are worthless. Oh wait, you prolly think that Bennett is a good player...we just rather redshirt him b/c we couldn't use a solid center this season.
