Muskogee won 65-60. Wilson had 14 pts, not sure about Dungee.

Max Prep has no stats on Sapulpa. Wilson was 2 of 10 from the field, 9 of 12 from the line, one of five from three, 7 rebounds, 1 assist, 3 turnovers. Trena Mims and Jada Ford did most of the scoring for Muskogee, 15 of 25 for 37 points between them.

I watched the Supulpa vx Bixby game on the web. I think Dungee scored around 15 points.

Her coach is crazy. He has Dungee playing inside while ladies who couldn't hit the ocean from 5 feet away bomb from behind the arc. Their game does nothing to get the ball to her or get her open for shots. Dungee gets her own points by rebounding and free throws. She has a nice stroke.

He put her on the bench near the end of the third quarter and kept her out most of the 4th. Meanwhile Bixby closed within 10 points so he put Dungee back in with about 1:30 to go and they closed the game out.

Looks like a case of making the new girl prove herself. Maybe a little jealousy involved as well.

I heard the coach had some parents upset because she inserted Dungee into the line up to soon! Someone's daughter had to sit and I'm sure that did not go over well with who's child was benched. Welcome to high school basketball at it's finest!!! Parents, Boosters and Administration running the program behind the scene! So SAD!!!

Espn reported that Dungee is the tallest girl on the team at 5'10/5'11, so that would explain why she's starting and playing in the post. Even tho she should be playing outside, she'll get to play her natural position in AAU ball, this can't hurt her learning how to defend bigger players and maybe she can pick up a few post/ back to the basket moves.

Sapulpa already had a proven, veteran team and coach before Dungee entered the scene. I think they are doing fine....

It takes time to integrate new players in the middle of the season.

I really like Jada Ford for Muskogee.
