Will Gallon get drafted?

Oklahoma freshman big man Keith "Tiny" Gallon has declared for the NBA Draft.

But the question now becomes this: Will Gallon get drafted? Gallon came into his freshman year as the No. 9 player in the country according to Rivals, but had some disciplinary troubles his freshman year. He was benched and suspended at different parts of the season.

ESPN's Chad Ford only ranks Gallon No. 152 -- only 60 players get drafted -- on his Draft Prospects list, and has him slated as second round to undrafted.

It's not known whether Gallon will hire an agent or not yet, so it's possible he could return for his sophomore season if he decides not to hire one.

I'd be shocked if Tiny didn't get drafted. If he is still around when the Thunder pick I wouldn't complain.

They are so blinded by his potential that they ignore his flaws?

It didn't say anything in the article from SoonerSports about him being able to come back if he doesn't hire an agent, so I assume that ship has sailed.

Too fat, doesn't play defense, likes to hang around the 3 line. D-leauges with Moose.

that defines the draft.... cue hasheem thabeet

at least thabeet was a terror on the defensive side of the floor and he rebounded. gallon is about average to below average on both sides of the floor. does he have potential? YES!!!! did he flash some potential? sometimes.

I would be really surprised if Tiny isn't picked up by some team in the second round willing to see what he develops into to.

Thabeet stayed three years, if Tiny had stayed two more years and continued to improve physically and skill wise, he'd probably have been a lottery pick.

Because he is 6'9" with nimble feet and soft hands. Not sure he could play for the Thunder, he'd have to wear blue.
At 6'9" where do you see him making an impact? As in, what position?

the draft is inconsequential because i do not think he will be on a roster come november, and that's what it is all about for him right now. achieving his dream isn't as close as he thinks it is.

PF coming off the bench...I could see him being taken in the first round by a team that has time to develop him in that role. Maybe L.A. so he could get back to his blood roots, or maybe the Bulls so he can sport red 24/7?

no one is giving him a guaranteed contract and drafting him in the first round.

no one.
