I am impressed that he stayed in Seattle with Gonzaga and built them and didn't take the money and move when he had a chance. He ALWAYS has a ton of the right recruits. He now is getting better talent than before as he can get into almost any household AND Seattle is a great city to recruit to. And now he makes as much money as most any other school will pay him.

I love it that he will go anywhere and play anyone - No Fear. With his league being weaker he knows that he needs the RPI boost by playing a bunch of power conference teams out of conference. Just totally respect him for his approach and runs a clean program and is respectful of everyone - very classy.

And on top of all that he is a Great bench coach. That's where the game was won against the Aggies tonight - Few is so much better than Ford. Made the right moves at the right times and had coached up his players ahead of time.

Good game to watch - on a neutral court Gonzaga wins that game by 15 but with a large crowd (about 2,000 empty seats even with T-Bone giving away 4,000) they had to overcome alot. Smart is a good player BUT I heard the choking sounds all the way to Tulsa when he missed both of his free throws at the end with a chance to tie it.

I Love Lon K and wouldn't trade him BUT WOW Few is smooth.

It's better than that...Gonzaga is not in Seattle. It is Spokane. Big difference. Spokane is on the East side close to Idaho, weather is much worse and a much smaller town than Seattle. He is a good coach.

+1. Opposite sides of the state, and very different demographics.

If only we had played Stephen F. Austin tonight, the Lumberjacks would have been an easy win at home, right?

I've always contended that I live the most boring life in Oklahoma. But seeing the 11:38 PM 12/31/2012 time stamp on that post actually makes me question that for once.

So a Sooner fan starts a thread talking about a guy many Sooner fans wanted for their head coach a couple of years ago, and an aggie decides to enter the thread to trash talk the Sooner fan. ON A SOONER BOARD!!!!! :facepalm:facepalm

Get a clue angry poke. The thread wasn't about your loss to the Zags!!!! Are you that bent on arguing with dem mean ole gooners?????

In one short moment at the keyboard, your credibility (if you had any), goes straight out the window, and you became the poster child for angry little brothers all over the world........:eddie187_jpg_xs::eddie187_jpg_xs:

Careful, Mizz. He might tell his Mama on you!

Well at least he made that comment last year, hope he doesn't post this year.

I think Few has a secret laboratory where he creates these goofy looking white guys with stupid hair, that are just super efficient and skilled. Every year they have one of these guys.

I thought he just liked to recruit hippy kids..... :ez-roll:

I don't know that I agree that the weather is worse. It is certainly different. They get more sunshine in Spokane and less paticipitation. The summer high temperatures are bit warmer in Spokane and the winter lows are a bit lower but the winter likely feels a lot nicer in Spokane because it is a significantly dryer climate.

The biggest problem with Spokane is it is pretty isolated.

Just goes to show how different two people can view the same weather:ez-laugh: I lived in that area for about three years and thought the winters were way worse on the East side of Wa. Just my personal perception though. Growing up in rural OK I did not feel isolated at all but I can certainly see where others would feel such. I thought the Summers were to die for and just the opposite of the Winter. Lot's of outdoor activities of just about any kind. I do miss that part....but that is it.

I never lived in Spokane but I considered moving there once. I was assuming the weather would be similar to Denver based on what I read with less sunshine.

Probably right, but Denver would be too cold for me as well:ez-roll:
