did Capel use it today? I don't think he did. OU had a 10 point lead evaporate with no timeout called and then he never used it. I really don't get that.
then why not use in the last minute or so. You lose it anyway. It doesn't make sense and almost strikes me the same way John Blake calling timeouts after incomplete passes struck. I am pretty sure Capel knows it is a use or lose it timeout but he failed to use a lot this season.
The forced John Blake references are irritating. Jeff has certainly had his flaws this year, but he is no John Blake. We get it, you don't think Capel is a good coach, no need to go overboard.
Is there another example of a coach at OU doing stange things with timeouts? When Blake called timeout after an incomplete pass against TCU I thought this guy should be fired immediately. Now Capel's deal is not remotely the same (I didn't think this guy should be fired immediately) but I do not understand why you would not use that timeout. It seems like a coaching opportunity to me and this team seems to need coaching.
Uncalled for and worst comparison I've ever heard. Trust me. Coach Jeff Capel has a much better understanding and upside than John Blake. BOOMER SOONER BABY!!!

All I know is what I see. What I see is Jeff Capel has posted a losing conference record when he is forced to coach a team without Blake Griffin and was only one game about .500 with Blake Griffin as a freshman.
