We have fourteen on the roster right now for this Fall. We graduate two, but we have two freshmen (Dungee, Mulkey) coming in. What we may have is one available scholarship.

If everyone remains on schedule (Manning being only a freshman in eligibility), we will graduate five the following year with only Llanusa coming in. That (2017) is the first time we will have more than a single scholarship available.

We aren't going to run people off. We have limited slots available.

There have been questions regarding Sherri's staying in touch with her recruits. If you listened to Ijeoma's remarks, OU was in rather constant touch with her as soon as they found her. That tends to contradict those who say that we lose touch. We usually hear this from someone other than the prospect. Maybe a family member didn't get the attention that he/she needed.

Two of the prospects coming in have played on the U-16 team for the US. One did it two years in succession. Having seen Llanusa, she is about as good as anyone that I saw this year. That's three solid prospects.

Celebrate.

Manning is a sophmore if and until she applies for the hardship eligibility, isn't she? I do not think she will apply for it because I believe she will be ready to get on with her life. Guess we will see.

Oh, I like EJ. She seems like a smart, hard-working young woman. Looking forward to seeing her play. I love that she appears to love being at OU.

I think Maddie is probably a coach-in-training. If we have the type of success that this team could have with a lineup of Mulkey, Ortiz, Dungee, Llanusa, and with Odimgbe, Pierre-Louis, and Treece rotating inside, Manning could well look at that and say that it would be fun to have a year or two with that team. If it is looking good, I would anticipate that Maddie would jump at the opportunity to return and go all the way. If Mulkey is the shot-blocking game changer that some think she could be, that could be a very dangerous team.

2014-15 was Maddie' RS sophomore season, 2013-14 her RS freshman season and 2012-13 her freshman season.

After Maddie has completed her RS senior season (2016-17) she can apply for a sixth season which I am virtually certain she would be granted the 6th year. However it will be April of 2017 before she can make application provided she desires to do so.
