The blue bloods will hate this. If one of them starts winning bidding wars, the red flags will raise immediately. It will help schools like OU to have a better shot of competing for the title, but it will down the product. We don't want NCAA basketball to turn into NCAA baseball in terms of popularity. I guess my feelings are a bit mixed based on the aforementioned reasons.
