GAME 16 - OKLAHOMA (11-4) @ Texas A&M (12-3) 2:30pm CST on SECNETWORK

he had reaves(nba)/manek(national championship runner-up)/williams(first team all acc)...all on the same team
only managed an 8 seed
And? We made the second round of the tourney that year and were in the top 10 till Reaves and Manek got covid. Lon didn’t do his best work with that team but I’d take a round of 32 appearance over another 6-12 conference season.

my bad. was thinking that was moser's first team.

We need five more wins to have a winning regular season. Even with some bad teams at the bottom this season, it’s far from a sure thing.

TEvans, would you mind posting the current data for all our individual players? I’m wondering how MMM’s campaign for Tae Davis as DPOY is on track to come to fruition.

Lack of funding/fan support have absolutely nothing to do with a consistent failures in game management/Xs and Os. We are now on year #5 of this bullsh!t. There is no doubt we could go out at this moment and find a quality coach who would love to come here and could actually get much more out of this roster. Like I said earlier in the thread, he is the textbook definition of coaching malpractice....even the most ardent PM defenders on here acknowledge his coaching shortcomings

Xs and Os are extremely overrated. They play hard.
Really? A&M didn’t really impress me at all. I don’t think they finish in the top 5.

Edited to add: OSU beat them by 24.

Yep. Money isn't an issue this year. He was able to spend some $ to go get some guys. He's being given a chance to succeed.

The team has to produce, or Porter's wife will be putting a "For Sale" sign in their yard in March.
Yes, money is an issue. When you have to play all your marquee non-conference games on road/neutral site to generate money for NIL, it’s an issue.

It’s funny you don’t respond to the post I quoted from the offseason where you crowed about how much more money Moser was given and how it helped him bring in so many good players.

I think we may have found Moser’s pseudonym account. You really shouldn’t be positing during games, though.

As for playing hard, they have yet to play hard for more than half a game.

I woke up feeling more negative than after the game. I don’t think they get five more. Maybe best SC, LSU and Texas once. That’s about it. 14 win season

they have funding look at the guys we got out of the portal the roster and talent are good
The fanbase just doesn't care about basketball, because OU has proven they don't care. Accepting garbage play has created apathy in the fanbase, IMO.

Moser really should have been gone last year. It took a generational player in Fears to get us to the tourney, and we barely got in, at that. Moser isn't good enough, but by constantly keeping him, it shows the fans that admin doesn't care.

I'm legitimately curious. Now that Joe C is on the way out, does anyone know what Randall Stephenson's views on OU basketball are? Does he care?
