Did PM call a timeout to stop a run?!!!! I’m shocked!!
Nwankwo and Jones over 2 years each = like 500k-ish... killed usWorst transfer class to $ ratio in OU history.
Pack and Brown? What have they won for us? We’re going to finish like 14-18Nwankwo and Jones over 2 years each = like 500k-ish... killed us
1000% he was about the 5th or 6th "problem" on that team ..They were jealous and lame. And those that were, weren't big time players. Young's cast let him down imo
Yes, he did. It just so happens this is the 10 year anniversary of his Final Four team.Highlight of the season and Porter Moser’s legacy was hanging the jersey in the rafters for our most impactful 4 year player of this century with 25% capacity crowd.
Buddy deserved a MUCH better night than this team, this season and this performance
Trae didn't win the Wooden. He finished behind Jalen Brunson.
But to your point, mixed about Trae being retired. Great Sooner, and one of the few who has supported the program like he has post-OU. Lead the nation in scoring and assists. I think he might have the highest PPG in OU history for one season, and obviously a career. The 4th most points in a season behind guys named Wayman & Buddy. First team All-American. Some points to be made why he could be considered to add his jersey to the rafters.
But the team also was underwhelming that year. Some nice wins and had to scrap to get into the tourney. Lost in the first round. Only played one season. And, IMO, we should retire jerseys and honor players for what they did while wearing the crimson and cream, not their NBA careers. Otherwise, Gar Heard or Clifford Ray might be in the rafters.
I would be okay if they did retire his number for what he has meant to the program, but I would also be okay if they didn't.
