First time we've had back to back 20 win seasons since 2016
That’s a tremendous stat especially when you consider Coach had 2 of the very hardest schedules during that stretch as well.

Sure and you're correct to a degree. But I have to imagine that a good coach could get wague to stop fouling and manage that better. But also, keep in mind that wague was behind Northweather even for part of this season, as the 3rd stringer. That's ridiculous. Wague should have been getting every minute he could have gotten in the meaningless games to get him in his best shape and more XP to learn better habits all year imoWague was great tonight but this game was an major outlier. He didn't foul and he played easily--by FAR--his best game of the season. If he'd been playing like that all season (without fouling), he'd have been getting more minutes. I think it's a case of him knowing he had to step up with Sam out, and I'm proud of him for doing so. But there wasn't a hint all season that he had a game like this in him. There were spurts, sure, but even then the fouls were a constant problem.
THISeven if i agree that every thing you are saying is correct (i don't ) Moser still should have played him until he fouled out EVERY SINGLE GAME
I like our matchup with Kentucky, surely we'll guard Oweh better tomorrow.
Abso-effing-lutely.We beat Kentucky and there will be a few Whistlepig or Blantons tomorrow night from me for sure. Happy for this win, but it’s time for a cool run
This is probably true. But he’s pretty key to spacing since he’s a known dangerous shooter. Forsythe should have some of his minutes but he doesn’t have the size (and isn’t better at defense at this point, but will have time and should improve to be better). If we had a chance to be a better defensive team I think Goodine would be a liability. But since we aren’t a great defensive team and have to win with offense, he provides a trusted shot and more importantly, the defense is aware and has to adjust to him.i like goodine but he should NEVER lead the team in min unless he is supernova like against TAMU
Isnt forsyth statistically beating goodine at 3%? For me, forsyth does those small things and is likely generally tougher than goodine. Id personally flip flop their roles rn if it were up to me.This is probably true. But he’s pretty key to spacing since he’s a known dangerous shooter. i am not sure i agree with that goodine is pretty terrible on DThis is probably true. But he’s pretty key to spacing since he’s a known dangerous shooter. Specialist. If he makes 1 of his first two 3’s, he keeps his minutes. I HOPE he has one of those F BBN tomorrow 4-6 from 3 games. Let’s gooooi like goodine but he should NEVER lead the team in min unless he is supernova like against TAMU
It's not like he's a freshman. He came in an experienced but flawed player. Neither Huggins nor Oats got him fixed in one season, either.Sure and you're correct to a degree. It just means more now…clown dari saying kentucky in nashville is not a bigger thing then KU in kansas city .... lol
ummm NO
I'd take 6.5 right now with our streak
Agreed, 44% from 3 is elite but too much of a liability on defensei like goodine but he should NEVER lead the team in min unless he is supernova like against TAMU
OU is not on the bubble any more they are now a lockI just checked Lunardi's midnight update. We are now in the last-four byes along with Vandy, San Diego State and WVU. Beat Kentucky and we're off THAT bubble. I don't want to get greedy, but would prefer our opening round game be Thursday or Friday next week.
And if he was getting more minutes in nonconference I think it would have (definitely should have) led to primary minutes as the big in conference. Both Wague and Godwin have been guilty of stupid fouls. Wague, however, can take a charge as we have seen. Luke, on the other hand, rarely fouls for obvious reasons.Sure and you're correct to a degree. But I have to imagine that a good coach could get wague to stop fouling and manage that better.
