I didn’t hear the specifics from Rowland but shitting on a player no matter how much they deserve it would accomplish nothing. Same thing with the bitchy press conference last season.

Players have so much power in current mbb, unfortunately seems like coaches should bend over backwards for talented/key guys. That will piss people off, maybe rightfully so but just the reality of today’s game.

We’ve thought that before. After the last 4 years, it would be nice to be sure. We don’t have to beat KU or Duke or Auburn. We just have to beat Georgia.

I think at some point you have to take a stand -- whether this was the scenario to do so, I don't know. But if you don't have a limit, you're going to get pushed over every time in perpetuity.

Agree, I think just the opposite. If I’m porter I just say that I was informed “x” player had pulled himself from the game. Just the truth. I def would have sent his ass home and revoked his ‘ship. It’s a contract, he didn’t fulfill so he owes the tuition/cost back.

Eventually there’s a point where schools/coaches need to step up.

Hell, I’m about there … rather have hard workers that aren’t full of themselves than a winning season..
