GAME 34- SEC TOURNAMENT - OKLAHOMA (19-14) vs ARKANSAS (23-8 8:30pm CST on SEC NETWORK

They had a good run and played hard, but Moser teams.....always coming up short. I'm sure he'll be back next year to make another NIT run. Myself (especially) and others need to repent because God hates OU basketball.....so I'm off to contrition.

Waited too long to the do the things we started doing to win games.

Offense ran thru Pack and Brown, not Reid and Davis. Fewer threes from Reid and Davis, and more inside game or cutting game from them. Fewer threes from the Russian (even though his percentage wasn't terrible).

More effort on defense and rebounding. Sense of urgency.

Less Nwankwo. More Jones. Less Atak most of the time (though he was big in a couple of games). Can't aim for improved defense and play Atak. Just can't.

lol we are 19-15 with zero noncon wins worth a damn. Not a single one. Zilch. We have a losing record against teams that aren’t sub-300. Insane anyone can say that resume means you “should” make the field.
 
This one hurts, was always going to come down to the wire because of Arky's talent but man OU needed to shoot better and they win this this. Definitely looked like tired legs down the stretch which sucks but this team put themselves in this position. They deserve to be IN but man Ole Miss pulled the upset OU had to also. Arky isn't better then this squad.

Ok - now go do Miami of Ohio’s resume and schedule. Report back on their SoS and key wins
 
It’s going to be brutal to listen to Moser campaign for two days because his talking point will be to point to a factor that the committee expressly removed from the criteria years ago. But we have literally nothing else on our resume so he will talk about how we finished strong and won 8 of 11 to end the season.
