Committee has never valued conference tourney wins the same as regular season wins, I’m guessing part of the reason is they have a lot of the bracket already made up before this week. I’m assuming unless we win the whole damn thing we re going to be in the play in game just based on how far back we probably were. Wouldn’t have it any other way I want this team to keep playing games, an extra game next week will be damn fun.

I agree. I think a win tonight gets them locked into a play in game 100%. We have to remember 1. How far back they were even 10 days ago and 2. It’s taken some unprecedented bubble losses to allow OU to fill the void. But, of course, kudos to the team for fighting tough.

Can't be in the play in game if you win your conference tournament. We would be a 10/11 seed and no play-in guaranteed.

I think right now, we are maybe right at 50/50, possibly a little below that. A loss to a good team won't kill your metrics if it's close, but on the other hand, our margin is tiny, there are still bid stealers alive, and a handful of other bubble teams are still playing and could improve their resume.

the only thing i'm concerned about is how fatigued our guys could be playing for a third night in a row - mentally and physically. The defense has looked great, but with tired legs...who knows. Hope Pack is okay after he went out of the game due to a bloody nose last night. We had a big lead on the Hogs when we were still struggling, so i'm hoping with our elevated play we can beat them. BOOMER!
