Agreed. Bama has A LOT more size than we do, and got beat worse on the boards than we did by Gonzaga. Bama couldn't handle Gonzaga's post tandem either. They blocked a few of their shots early on, but Ike and Huff are a top 5 post duo in the country. Bama's guards are electric...but Gonzaga is a really good team.
 
The players era tournament is stacked with great teams and great competition. I miss the days of being on that level. It’s been a long time.
 
Auburn getting absolutely fried. This will happen more than once to them this year, though this is a particularly bad matchup.
 
Devries already has Indiana in the rankings and just got their second blowout win over a power conference team.

There will be a lot of good matchups tomorrow in Vegas, despite the weird format. Sure hope they figure out how to make that a bracketed event by next year.
 
Yeah, always good to see Tang lay an egg. He’s lost his polish imo.
 
Man I was wrong a few weeks back when someone said they would like to still have Duke. Seeing how bad JN has been, would love to make that trade. Wonder how much Duke was asking for, or if not starting would have been a dealbreaker for him.
 
I was thinking to same watching the last game. Duke would have added something that JN just doesn't seem to have right now. Maybe he will in a couple of months.
 
Tennessee needs to pull this game out for the SEC. It hasn’t been a great start to the year for the conference, and losing to a KU team playing without arguably the best player in the country would be another missed opportunity in a big noncon game.
 
Was thinking about this today. Last year, we went 12-12 in the regular season (not counting the games against JUCOs and high schools). That was just good enough to get us in the tourney … and that was in a year where the conference was historically great. The conference is not a good this year … nothing can change that now since most the big noncon games are over. So 12-12 is the absolute minimum we have to go. We are currently 0-2 … needless to say, Friday is a big game.

Man I was so excited for the Michigan Gonzaga game but it’s been a TKO. I wonder if Gonzaga can at least make a little push in the second half.

Also … Dusty May can coach.

Yeah I’m watching this as well. Shocked that Michigan is doing this to them. Thank gawd we’re not playing Michigan this year whew!
