Blake went to OU because of Jeff and Taylor endorsing Jeff. Any other coach taylor would have transferred and Blake would have been at Kansas

If Blake didn't go to OU...I doubt he would have been at KU. Duke was recruiting him and he grew up an OSU fan so theres no guarantee he would have gone to KU and still not have gone to OU. Taylor could have endorsed Geno.
We all know that he wasn't going to go to OU if Sampson was there and that makes sense b/c Sampson runs a guard offense. Thats why Humphrey left and thats why Lavender left b/c he was a guard that got the post involved and he wanted a guard that would take over so thats why he went w/ Everett. Thats also why we didn't get past the 1st round w/ Gray and Bookout on the roster.

So Dana Altman. That would've left me feeling very "meh".

50/50 you say? Interesting. After the 4 game win streak I thought he's back no matter what, but if we lose out AND don't land Guerrero or Jurick I think he may be done.

I meant to type OSU but had KU on the brain so you are right about that. Lavendar left because Coach sampson hated him so much he would not even call him by his name he would refer to as that player.

If he has nobody leave the team other than hardrick and thompson...I don't see him not given another year. 50/50 is basically saying 100% he will be back.

chewy I was told by insiders that Tim Floyd was one of Joe C.'s top targets, does that not jive with what you've heard?

Chewy has the goods. Very good sources.

Remember, he said a long time before anyone else that Tiny would not be back this year. Others were quoting their sources that he would be back, but Chewy was right. I could name other instances where his info has been 100%.

I remember at the time hearing that Altman and Stoops are good friends from their KSU days. So, it makes sense that Altman was officially extended an offer.

He's a good coach, and I think a much better option than what we have now.

I think Chewy even reported about TMG not coming back. I could be wrong on that but he does have the inside info considering how right he has been on a-lot of things within the program. If he says it's 50/50 whether Jeff comes back then I will take his word for it.

yes it was Dana's job but he said no then they interviewed Jeff and decided on him
