I don't know if it is the recent workout videos, the reports that we have a group of guys gelling, or the fact that the Big Puma may be giving us some much needed depth at the four spot but old bigtime is starting to get jacked up for this season.

Will the attendance suck? Oh man we may take it to a new low this year (which is sad)

Are we going to finish in the bottom half of the league? Probably (prove me wrong, Bird).

But here I am, shamelessly getting pumped for Sooner basketball. :OUbball-logo::OUbball-logo::OUbball-logo: :D

I say we serve up the rest of the Big 12, our "fans", and the national media a giant **** sandwhich and win some ball games this year. Who is with me?!?!

I am with you my man. I'm not sure how my own attendance is going to be this year since our first child is due in mid to late February, but I will do my damndest to support the team.

I will be there every home game and the All-College. I think we are going to have a gritty team this year with a chip on its shoulder. I don't think our guys are going to back down from anyone. is it November 11th yet?

i will be there at every home game .. i sounds like fun

I could be wrong, but watching the skill and effort being exhibited in the practice videos, it doesn't seem like we are throwing a bunch of scrubs out there. I've been particularly impressed with Newell, Blair, Osby and Thompson.

1. Blair looks like he is capable of running the point for a High Major already.

2. Newell looks like he is a high end, High Major athlete that has a guy like Blair to compete against daily.

3. Osby may be a year away, but another high end, High Major athlete that has a year to polish his game and mesh with his teammates.

4. Thompson was soft in drills that required strength, but man he had a nice stroke from the outside. He still "looks" better than I thought he would.

Really, I've been impressed by what I've seen out of our players. If they play hard and smart, they have a chance to be better than we thought coming in.

I love the potential of our backcourt players, if the front court can be decent this team could have a change at surprising some people. Still a lot of question marks but I am an optimist when it comes to Sooner basketball so I can't wait.

If the team plays hard – and I suspect they will – we'll be celebrating (not forgiving) their record.
I agree. Last years team wasn't bad because they had no talent. They were bad because they didn't play hard and were all playing different games at the same time. I doubt we have the cancers we had last year. Although I don't know enough about the newcomers to completely buy that. Nobody knew that coming into last year either

Not gonna lie, if this team has a good record, I can forgive them if they don't play hard.

Not gonna lie, if this team has a good record and plays hard, I can forgive them for being ugly.

If the team plays hard, I can forgive any record.
I can forgive it, but would be disappointed with a poor record. Just playing hard, sharing laughs, slapping fives is all well and good in YMCA soccer, but we need to win enough games for Capel to keep his job.

However, I understand where you are coming from.
