This pretty much sums it up, and most of the losses this season really:

Also, here are some of his tweets from this morning. Good kid. Gonna miss him:

I would just like to thank everyone who made this possible! I have enjoyed my time as a SOONER and will always cherish these times! #Boomer

140 characters isn't enough to properly pay homage to the program and everyone who makes it what it is! Thank God, coaches, fans, and team!

Also I am sorry that I can't write everyone back individually but I do appreciate all the kind words and best wishes! God bless you all.

I will always be forever grateful for this opportunity...thank you #soonernation

Good luck in whatever you do after college, Romero - and don't be a stranger!

Proud to call Romero a Sooner, and one of the best Sooners at that. We will miss you big fella.

Ro you'll be missed big man. Thanks for everything you've done for the program. One of my all time favorites!

Romero,

It has been a pleasure watching you gain your confidence back over the past 3 years as a Sooner. May God Bless you and your family! Proud to have you in the Sooner Nation.

Ro,

In one sense youir timing at OU was lousy because you would have been a great piece of the puzzle on so many really good OU teams.

But, you were the perfect leader for a program that was struggling to find an identity.

Thanks for all you have done for OU, I know you have grown as a basketball player and as a man, student, husband, and father.

I echo what everyone has said. GOD bless Ro, and may he experience good health, peace, and prosperity as he moves on with his life. BOOMER!!!!!!!

While he has some basketball left ahead of him, I could see Ro on the bench as an assistant or head coach someday. Imagine a kid jack around out on the floor and then have to come to the bench during a TO or for a sub and explain himself to that intense Ro stare we've seen all season.

Ro will always be one of my favorite Sooners, He has always shown class, has always represented OU very well and seems to be a great guy all the way around. I know as well as everyone else we wish him the very best in the future, I really hope he gets a shot at the NBA.

I've had my favorites over the years. But there is no one I have enjoyed more or will miss more than Romero Osby. He has been the epitome of class and a great role model for everyone who will follow in his footsteps!

Best of luck always, Roe! May God Bless you and your family in whatever you do in the years ahead!!!

BOOMER SOONER! :OUbball-logo:

Mr. Osby, you will be missed; however, you are one of those Sooner players that will never be forgotten.

Good luck, and Godspeed on the upcoming journey of life. I think you will do well. You and your fellow seniors make us proud.

The 3rd best player at OU since 2000 (behind Griffin and Hollis). That's an outcome I don't think anyone would've predicted when he arrived on campus as a transfer a few years ago. Impressive.

I could see him in a strength and conditioning role like Yo-Yo's role early in his career.
