Great Moments in OU History: 30 years ago today, Billy Tubbs took the mic

On February 9, 1989, Billy Tubbs's Sooners were off to a bad start against Missouri. With OU down 23-8 early, the Sooners went into their usual full-court press defense but were called for a foul. The crowd began throwing objects onto the court. The PA announcer announced that any further debris would result in a technical foul on OU, but Coach Tubbs then took the microphone himself to make it perfectly clear.

Just classic. My favorite part is how he acted shocked after he was T’ed up.
