Don't expect this one to stay like this but A$M is hanging in there in Lawrence. After Ku was up 11-0 A$M has been on a 30-17 run. Taylor has been sitting with two fouls and since he went out KU is a totally different team. They aren't working the ball, they're jacking threes, and Robinson isn't working to get the ball. They have looked very unKUlike. Self used the term selfish so I expect he gave them the buzzsaw at the half so I look for a typical KU stomping out of the half.

Aggies play pretty well and hang in there but really have no answer for Robinson. KU finally remembered where their horse was(not behind the arc) and he was tough. Withey can up huge also with eight blocks. How would you like to have him on our team?

Don't know for sure but I think those two guys in street clothes are the two that didn't make their grades. They looked pretty big too.

The kids who didn't make their grades I believe are Jamari Traylor 6'6-7ish PF who was top 150 in rivals. Ben McLemore is the other kid who was a top 40 kid in rivals. I know KU fans believe they would have at least contributed some this year. I'm amazed what Self has done with his team. He has two studs in Taylor and Robinson, but zero depth. I can't think of a player coming off their bench that is worth anything.

Yep. Finally it's not "well of course he wins with that talent". Last night was about as bad as KU can play and still win. Self was pissed the whole game and just couldn't get them to play the way he wanted them to. I do think had Taylor not had to sit with fouls the first half may have gone differently. They may not be loaded like in past years but I don't cry for them. I see them at 9-0 and finishing no worse than 15-3. I'll take a down year like that anyday.
