Hate to jump on the TMG Facebook bandwagon but...

I have to admit I tried reading some of his facebook exchanges with his friends and family and I could only understand about every third word...and the words that I could understand were misspelled...that's ok though...TMG only needs to know 4 letters...NBDL...hopefully he can spell his name well enough to cash those NBDL checks...

Watch from about the 6:40 mark to 7:15. This is the first thing that popped in my head when reading his rambling.

TMG reminds me of some of those playground legends in NYC or Philadelphia...people talk about them like they were something special, but they never left the hood and no one outside of their hood knows who they are...TMG's only chance to get an NBA payday was to stay in school...it wouldn't surprise me one bit if he ends back up in Houston as a "legend"

Guys, it really is a sad deal. TMG is not ready for the league period. I think he could get there someday and if not he would at least get a college degree. I would never poke fun at a guy that is obviously confused and is getting bad advice from someone. I absolutely hate to see any kid fail esp if he has all the goods to make it. On the other hand you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink so good luck to TMG and I hope he does not have a life full of regret.

What does helpin a nigga from the hood mean? Does that mean if you say you should have done this or that you ain't helpin? Helpin is having the best interests of you in mind. I assume he just hates school. Can't really blame him there. However the more I hear from TMG, the more I hope I never have to again. I do wish the man good luck.

Best of luck to TMG...he obviously is someone who isn't made for college, so honing his craft somewhere else (most likely Europe) is in his best interests. Just sad though, so much on the table and he is going to get up and walk away.

My main concern now is not our BB team; I'm worried he actually thinks one spells "you" with an "e."

Is he seriously writing those things on facebook? I don't understand how someone who writes like that can function in society.

"on a mission...its a official dat i am leavin skool and enterin draft so if yue see me and ask me y i aint doin anotha yr yue mite get ignored"

He obviously doesnt need more than a single semester in college.

Hopefully he doesn't end up like Prentiss Elliott (former OSU football player) from Tulsa, worlds of talent, but couldn't get away from the bad influences of his hometown, with all his 'friends' telling him how awesome he is.
