Here is my take on this team - Ada get ready because you are going to earn your keep on this post.
Guys, I'm an old man, I believe in God, America, family and hard work. Nothing I have was ever given to me, I don't believe in "free" stuff that includes an education. Now these young ladies are getting a "free" education but there is a price to pay for that "free" education - hard work which includes several things, (1) going to class and making grades, doesn't seem to be a real problem, (2) showing up at practice and putting in "hard" work, learning the plays and giving their all - seems to be an issue, (3) taking that hard work to the game day floor and producing wins - a real problem.
Watching some of these kids gives me the idea they are only at OU for the "free" education. Today in America it's entitlement - give me, give me, I want, I want, etc but I don't want to work for anything.
You can tell by the way they play, they are not practicing with good hard work and ethics. It takes both practice/hard work to achieve the goal of winning. Nothing given, nothing gain.
I wish I could be a fly on the wall and here Sherri - I know some on this board are calling for her head, not going to happen with just one really bad season, I don't care what the pre-season rankings were, one bad season is not going to cost Sherri her job.
Sherri, in my opinion needs to sit the returning players down and tell them, here is what it takes to keep your "free" education, if you are not willing to do what it takes then there is the door, there will be no entitlements at OU only hard work that produces wins.
Just an old mans thoughts.
