I had to watch the game on mute (DVR'd, wife sleeping, etc) so I'm curious if Hield re-aggravated anything or if they just really limited his minutes last night to ease him back.

He looked tentative, and it was fairly obvious he wasn't going full speed. My guess is they got him 4 minutes early on so they could evaluate him at halftime. We'll seem him for 8 or 10 minutes during the TCU game, and 15 or 20 during the Big 12 tournament.

Needs to get back into game shape, looked more then a step slow last night - the fact that the game ended up getting close I'm sure played a part in him playing so little also.

Thanks guys...I was concerned that he might have aggravated the injury.

After the game, Coach Kruger said they are going to bring him along slowly. He said they didn't want to bring him back in the 2nd half after he had cooled off. He said he hopes to play him more Saturday.

They asked him if Buddy was tugging at his coat, asking to go back into the game in the second half. He said he's been doing that for 2 weeks!

I was a little concerned that he went out of the game shortly after he got tangled up with a WVU player and fell to the court. He had only been in the game a few minutes when that happened, then he went back to the bench and never played again the rest of the way.

I'm hoping he didn't tweak that foot. We need him, of course, with the Big XII tournament and the dance coming up. But I'm more concerned about his health and ability to contribute. I'm sure it means a lot to the kid to be able to help his team in postseason play.

Edit: Just saw your post, MSProud. That makes me feel better.
